Professor Kjersti Grønning has long-lasting research experience within the field of nursing and nursing education. Her clinical research projects have focused on different patient populations (patients living with different chronic illnesses, elderly and children). She has also conducted several research projects studying the effects of rehabilitation, patient education, and health promotion. She is experienced in using different research designs and methods such as cross-sectional studies, randomised controlled trials, longitudinal studies, and qualitative methods (individual interviews, focus group interviews). She currently runs an ongoing project on missed nursing care.
