Dorthe Boe DanbjØrg is the President of the Danish Nurses’ Organization as well as the second Vice-President of the Nordic Nurses’ Federation. Dorthe is a trained nurse and holds a Master of Science in Nursing and a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). In 2018 she was appointed Associate Professor at the Clinical Institute at the University of Southern Denmark. Dorthe has a comprehensive nursing, education, research and leadership background. Her focus is on improving the healthcare system for patients, advocating for better conditions for nurses, and enhancing nursing education. Her research has focused on how technology like telemedicine can increase the accessibility and quality of nursing care for patients.
