Kaisa Juuso, born on September 23, 1960, in Alatornio, has been serving as a Member of Parliament since 2019. Prior to her political career, Ms Juuso worked as a specialist in international health care at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's international unit and as a nurse in various locations. Before her health care career, she held several positions in the insurance sector from 1989 to 2004.
Ms Juuso earned a degree in Psychiatric Nursing in 2010. She also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in behavioural sciences in 1986 and holds a Diploma in Insurance from 1994.
Ms Juuso holds several positions of trust, including being a member of the Tornio City Council since 2013 and a member of the Tornio City Executive since 2017.
