Dr. Kelly Kokus is a primary care nurse practitioner, board-certified family nurse practitioner, and Doctor of Nursing Practice. She works at South Coast Wellness in Simcoe, Ontario, on a mobile addiction outreach team delivering primary and mental health care. Dr. Kokus is also an associate professor at Fanshawe College in the practical nursing and personal support worker programs. She is passionate about providing low-barrier, trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health and addictions care in rural communities. Dr. Kokus serves on the Board of Directors for the International Society of Nurses on Addictions and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Ontario.
