"Dr Elizabeth Elder is a nurse academic and workforce researcher with a background in emergency nursing and international education. Currently working as a Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Griffith University, she has led and collaborated on projects focused on strengthening nursing academia and the clinical workforce. Her research explores occupational stress, professional identity, and recruitment and retention of nurses and midwives. With a passion for building strong clinical and academic workforces, Dr Elder has published widely, secured competitive funding, and works closely with professional bodies and health services across Australia and internationally to build research capacity and promote evidence-based workforce solutions."
